I would like to clean the fan blades and cage can I open the cage to clean the fan blades? If yes how do I open the cage?
The front guard has hooks that hook into the rear guard. They can carefully pry those hooks back just enough to get them out of the rear guard, one at a time then the two halves will separate. The front guard can then be replaced after cleaning in the same way.
