Hydroponic fans can help take your grow operation to the next level by helping you control temperature, humidity and quality of airflow. Here at Industrial Fans, we have many different types of indoor and outdoor fans that can help you grow your hydroponic plants and business.
Benefits of Hydroponic Fans
For optimal growth, hydroponic plants need temperatures between 65 and 75 degrees and humidity levels between 50 and 80 percent and plenty of fresh air. When growing temperatures and air circulation are not maintained, plants can fail to thrive. When humidity is greater than 80 percent, mold and mildew can start to form inside your grow room. Ventilation fans can help control heat and humidity and provide adequate fresh air and air circulation so that you can achieve the best possible yields and grow rates for your plants.
Types of Hydroponic Fans
Our hydrophonic fan selection includes inline duct fans, floor fans, pedestal fans and indoor and outdoor air circulator fans so that you can keep your grow room at your desired temperatures and humidity levels.
In grow rooms, heat and humidity can collect at the ceiling, leaving the top of the room hot and susceptible to mold and mildew growth. Installing one or more ceiling fans can help keep the air moving and the heat and humidity away from the ceiling so that your grow room is an even temperature. Our hydrophonic ceiling fans are available with CFMs up to 55,000.
Centrifugal and Multi-purpose Inline Duct Fans
Hydroponic plants need plenty of air circulation in order to thrive. Excessive levels of carbon dioxide can hinder your plant’s ability to breathe. Our centrifugal inline duct fans and our multi-purpose in-line duct fans can easily be installed inside existing mechanical heating and cooling ducts on the intake and exhaust sides in order to improve air circulation inside your grow room, allow fresh air into the room and vent stale are outdoors. Our centrifugal duct fans have the ability to move up to 75,000 cubic feet of air per minute, and our inline duct fans can move as much as 5,000 cubic feet of air per minute.
Floor Air Circulator Fans
Maintaining even temperatures throughout your grow room is essential for healthy, thriving plants. Like ceilings, floors can also be a different temperature than the rest of the room, and if you have water spills, that moisture can collect on the floor, leading to slick, humid areas. Placing one or more floor air circulator fans can help maintain air movement, fascinate even temperatures throughout your grow room and help keep floors dry and safe. Our floor air circulator fans are available with CFMs up to 7,500.
To help certain types of plants pollinate and for improved air circulation, consider installing a couple of our pedestal fans. Pedestal fans have either non-oscillating or oscillating type heads that can help keep air moving in multiple directions. This helps circulate fresh air, improves the pollination rates of wind-pollinated plants and can help with venting stale, carbon dioxide filled air outside. Our pedestal fans have CFMs between 2,501 and 15,000.
Wall Mounted Air Circulators
Our wall mounted air calculator fans can help you maintain the optimal airflow while reducing the amount of space occupied by the fans. Our wall mounted air circulator fans can be attached to walls and supports in your grow room in order to help you maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels without taking up valuable floor space. These fans come with variable speed motors and CFMs between 2,501 and 10,000.
Outdoor Rated Air Circulators
Our outdoor rated air circulator fans are designed to withstand the elements, including large amounts of moisture. These fans are powder coated to reduce the risk of corrosion and rust, which means they can be mounted along exterior walls and in doorways where they can help move stale inside air outdoor and bring fresh air indoors. These fans are available with CFMs up to 5,000.
