Patterson High Velocity Industrial Fan & Power Tube 18 Inch 3800 CFM
The Patterson Power Tube is a fabric air duct system custom designed toefficiently control airflowdistribution over large areas by moving and directing air through a custom vented tube powered by one of Patterson's High Velocity Fans. One fan can send airflow across multiple workstations or down an assembly line to several workers at floor level.
Cooling:
Power Tubes are available in five standardmodels (each model connects with an appropriately sized High Velocity Fan) and an infinite number ofcustom configurations. The five standard models wereengineered with optimal airflow in mind; the tubelength, hole size, and hole spacing were calculated sothat the area along the entire length of the tube wouldreceive smooth, consistent air movement.
Heating:
This process works by mixing the warm air trapped near the ceiling with the cooler air below to create a balanced temperature, thus reducing the strain on your HVAC system.
Two ways to use a power tube for destratification:
1. Use a vertically mounted fan and an open-ended tube if ceiling spaceis limited. This can also be used for spot heating specific areas.
2. Place a standard horizontally mounted power tube near the ceiling. Workers at floor level will feelthewarmthrather than thebreeze. Use this method if a largeceiling fan is out of your budget.
