What if it ships Freight?
Larger and or heavier orders will be palletized and shipped by freight. We have negotiated Discounted Shipping Rates with our carrier so that we can pass the savings on to you.
How Much?
The cost of freight will be based on the size and weight of the pallet as well as the delivery destination. You can get this cost by continuing through the checkout process and answering questions OR you can you use our freight estimator tool. Note that the freight estimator tool will not include the additional freight services that may be required for your address.
What Are Additional Freight Services?
Additional freight services are required by Fed Ex at an additional cost for address that qualify as the following.
- Residential OR Residential Business - $140
FedEx uses an internal system to determine if an address is commercial or residential based on factors like zoning and the type of structure. - Lift-Gate for Delivery - $120
If the delivery address does not have a commercial loading dock or fork-lift onsite for off-loading the pallet from the delivery truck, then a lift gate will be required to lower the pallet from the back of the truck to ground level. If this information is not reported to us accurately at checkout, you could be subject to the original fee as well as a re-delivery fee as assessed by the freight carrier. - Limited Access Delivery - $140
A limited access address is to a location that present extra challenge for delivery carriers in either time or fuel. If the delivery location has gate enclosures, requires permission or a security check in process to deliver it will be assessed a Limited Access delivery fee.
The following is a list of examples that would be considered Limited Access:
Schools, Churches, Correctional Facilities, Government Buildings, Courthouses, Military Bases, Farms, Ranches, Parks, Utility Companies (public or private), Airports & Freight Forwarders. - Redelivery - $187
If freight has to be taken back to the freight terminal because of a failed delivery attempt, you are responsible for redelivery fee of no less than $187.
