I am going to use this on a paint booth using flammable paint. Do I need an explosion proof motor?
It is recommended to use fans that are rated as spark resistant or explosion proof in areas where flammable fumes and gases exist.

if I go single phase motor will I get the same cfm ?
The short answer is YES. The Phase of the motor should not affect the CFM of the fan unit.
