The King PCKW industrial wheeled portable unit heater is constructed to hold up to the rigorous demands of a jobsite or industrial facility. This unit heater is the absolute best heat source to assist in complete “Dry-out” applications, where dry electric heat is preferred to propane or kerosene space heaters. In addition, electric heat omits absolutely no odor, flame or carbon monoxide. The high CFM and moderate temperature rise are also key features to make this unit heater the absolute best solution for temporary large capacity heating and dry-out applications. Features front and back carry handles and heavy-duty pneumatic wheels for ease of portability and washable intake air filters to simplify maintenance. Comes standard with a built-in thermostat, heat on and fan only switches for maximum temperature control.

Features

Construction: The heater case is fabricated from high tensile 18-gauge electrogalvanized steel that is welded together forming a durable unibody cabinet. Heater is finished with a rust inhibiting epoxy coating.

Adjustable Outlet Louver: Louvers direct air up or down as needed for the heating application.

Washable Intake Air Filters: Constructed of aluminum and protects against foreign objects entering the heater. 3 Washable Filters: .75” x 16“x 16” prevents dirt and dust build up in the heater.

N.E.M.A. 12 Wiring Compartment: The wiring compartment is sealed with a ¼” high density polyurethane gasket. This provides excellent protection against moisture, dust and dirt from invading the electrical components and wiring. All optional control accessories are N.E.M.A. 12 rated.

Spiral Fin Element: The metal sheath element is brazed with spiral fins and then formed into a coil configuration. This combination produces the best heat transfer while eliminating the potential for hot spots by positioning the element in the maximum airflow stream.

Blower & Motor: Totally enclosed outdoor ball bearing fan motor. Permanently lubricated, class B insulation, auto-protected, permanent split capacitor and 60°C ambient. Large capacity dual-inlet blower handles high static pressure and moves large air volume. Motor leads are enclosed in a seal tight raceway to prolong equipment life & reduce maintenance.

Air Intake Temperature Control: A built-in thermostat located at the intake blower is factory set at 100°F which prevents the heater from operating when the ambient temperature exceeds this limit. This will prevent the heater from wasting energy and is an extra measure of safety.

Auto-Reset Thermal Cutout: Power is disconnected from the element if an overheated condition occurs. The fan continues to run to dissipate excess heat from the element. The element is re-energized automatically when the normal operating temperature returns.

Internal Controls: Magnetic contactors are standard on all units. Sub circuit fusing is provided when the heater ampacity exceeds 48 Amps to comply with UL standards. A fan delay is provided standard to dissipate residual heat from the heating elements.

Easy Wiring: Large wiring compartment allows quick access.

Wheels: 2 heavy-duty pneumatic wheels are provided for ease of portability.

Approvals: UL Certified to comply with UL 2021, standard for Fixed and Location-Dedicated Electric Room Heaters and CSA C22.2 No. 46 for Electric Air-Heaters.
