QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
We are looking for several 16” fans to be used within a wood kiln operating continuously at about 120 degrees. Will the S16-E1 work in these conditions?
No. THis fan is only rated for 104 deg. F, as is most fans. This unit (V4E40K2M71100) 16" exhasut fan will work in temps up to 140 deg. F.
Looking at the fan what way does he fan turn to exhaust the building? I bought this fan & did not realize it was dual voltage.
If you are facing the blade side of the fan, the blade should be roataing clock-wise when on. This is for exhaust or pulling the air out of the room or space..
Does this come with a remote?
This fan does not come with a remote control, not is it a remote controlled fan.
We have a 12 inch square opening in our building for an exhaust fan what size do I need
The AX10-3 wall exhaust fan should filt within this opening.
Can you use this on a commercial vent hood?
This Canarm brand exhaust fan is a high quality fan that has many commercial applications.
I need a fan size of 20 “ x12 “ is this possible
No. Typically a wall mounted exhaust fan is square and not rectangular.
Does this have the powered louvers
This fan has gravity louvers, not motorized.
We want to install this in our food truck. Will it stay on if it gets really hot up in the hood? What size do you recommend. Our truck is 21’x8’. How much room is required up in the hood to fit this unit.

Is this fan explosion proof I was considering it for a 14 by 24 by 8 foot paint booth
This fan is NOT explosion proof. You will want to look at the AX14-4 or the SD18-XPF
what size wall shutter fan is required for a garage 50 ft wide x 50 ft long x 18ft high
You have a total of 45,000 cubic feet of air in this space. 6500 CFM would exchange the air approx. one time per 7 minutes, which is fairly typical for your application. You may want to look at two fans doing roughly 3500 CFM each.
My building is 36x64 with a 16 foot sidewall is this fan big enough to exhaust my space?
The cubic feet of your area is approx. 37,000. This fan would only exchange the air in your building approx. once every 15 to 17 minutes. It is typically suggested to exchange the air in a warehouse type buildiing once every 7 minutes or less. This would require approx. 5,300 CFM.
Is the motor brushless?
Yes. The motor on this fan is brushless. This is a PSC type motor.
