        Questions & Answers

        Ask a Question
        • Is this (or all?) fans thermostat / temperature controlled? Means, is there a thermostat which when an attic temperature is reached, starts the fan? So the fan does not constantly run overnight when the attic is cool(ed)? As well, I see there are three speeds on this fan model SF2014C3. Is that switched? If so, where is the switch? I read another fan has a pull-cord switch, and I would rather have one I can put a variable rheostat (or even a three-point switch (like, Speed 1, 2, 3)]. Also, the 'direct-drive'...does that mean the fan is direct mounted to the electric motors' shaft? Please advise.

All of the exhaust fans can be connected to a thermostat to control the on/off of the fan. The 3 speed switch for this fan is connected to the rear gaurd of the fan.
