What exactly doe this mean? Does it mean that the shutters have a delay in the design? **NOTE: Shutters are designed to be opened BEFORE turning the fan on. How much Airflow can the louvers handle, while opening? What kind of switch is needed to use to open the shutters needed, or can it be connect in series to a single switch? If you can use a single switch, can you use a standard light switch? In other words, does it open when toggled on, and close when toggled off, or does it require a different type of switch connection? Is there a delay that switch that you can recommend, and a correct electrical installation process, if you want only 1 switch?

The note just means that a delay switch should be connected to the fans power, so that it allows the shutter to open first.
What is the difference between the inside and outside mount options?

This has to do with the mounting flange around the outside of the damper / shutter. Inside or outside mounting is about whether you want to mount the shutter from the inside of your building (mounting flange on inside wall), or from the outside (mountinf flange on outside of wall).
