QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
Our kitchen is approximately 14 x 20 and has its own attic space with a slanted roof. The max height from the top of the ceiling to the top of the roof is about 3 1/2 feet and it slopes down from there. We would like to put an exhaust fan on one side of the attic space to draw air through a vent on the other side. Would this fan be suitable for this operation?
Please call 866.727.1060 to speak with a sales team member regarding your requirements.

Do you sell the interior wall components to use this in a finished residential kitchen...e.g. face plate, grill, and switches?
Unfortunately, at this time, we do not carry the interior wall accessories for this unit.
-
What type of controller can be used with this so it runs on time intervals? Need to run the fan every 15 mins or so, instead of steady-is this even possible?
This type of timer control is not something Industrial Fans Direct currently carries.

I am unable to use a 6" duct as specified for my 420 cu ft powered hood vent due to structural limitations. 4" duct max possible. In addition to the self-contained blower in the hood could I add an additional external powered vent as a "helper"? Total run is 10 ft with 1 elbow
Yes, adding this additional fan will not double your CFM, but it will help to move more air through the existing duct quicker.

Can I add a variable speed switch to the vcn 100
No. This particular vent fan is not designed to be run with a variable speed control. It has a 1 speed motor only, so it is On or Off.
