Does the 24 inch direct drive fan have a thermal sensing overheated shut off feature?

Thank you for your question. These motors have an integrated 104F thermal overload shut off.
What are the direct drive 24 inch fan housing dimensions (length X width X depth)? Can the fan be positioned and function with an upward (toward the ceiling) air flow? Can the fan accommodate a reverse (upward or downward) and variable speed wall control switch?

Thank you for your question. This unit uses a single speed, non-reversible, single phase motor that cannot be run at variable speeds. The fan can be mounted horizontially to move air upwards. Please see the dimensions below
